MyEdBC:District View - Student Top Tab > Options Menu > Exports > BC 1701 FTE Extract

Run the 1701 Export and drop the FTE files into the upload zone above. You can run your entire district at once. MyEdBC will produce a ZIP archive of all FTE files for the schools you select to export. Do not drop that ZIP file up there, drop the FTE files found within it.

International students (Fund 14) will count as one head per school and zero FTE.

Students with a ministry designation (IEP) will count as one head per school and one FTE. If an IEP student is cross enrolled, they will count as one head in each school, but the school with the most courses will get one FTE, the rest get zero.

On the next screen, select which schools are Alt-Ed schools. Students in Alt-Ed always count as one FTE. If an Alt-Ed student is cross enrolled, they will count as one head in each school, but the school with the most courses will get one FTE, the rest get zero.

Remember that a cross-enrolled student counts as one head in each school, so if a student appears in more than one school in the upload, their head will be counted once for each school, but only once for the district total. If you manually add the headcount total for each school, you will get a higher number than the headcount for the district; otherwise the district headcount would be higher than the number of actual students.
